Born in Nantes in 1967, graduated from Ensci in 1992, Patrick Jouin is a designer, and his creativity is expressed in industrial design as well as in the sphere of luxury. Associated with the greatest for exceptional projects, like Fermob, Cassina, Kartell, Alessi, Puiforcat, Roset or Bernhardt, it occupies a place apart in the landscape of French design. Few know how to evolve with the same ease and strength in realizations of furniture, industrial design or scenography.
Patrick Jouin's career was devoted to a solo exhibition at the Pompidou Center in 2009 and to the prestigious Compasso d'Oro in 2011.
He is the head of two agencies: Patrick Jouin iD for industrial design and JouinManku, with his partner Sanjit Manku, for interior design and architectural design.
