Born in Oviedo in 1961, she attended the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid and at the Polytechnic School of Milan, where she graduated in 1989 with Achille Castiglioni as her memory director, of which she will be the assistant professor. the Polytechnic School of Milan from 1990 to 1992.
From 1990 to 1996, she followed the product development department for De Padova where she collaborated with Vico Magistretti. In 1996, she became design manager at Lissoni Associati. In 2001, she opened her creative studio, where she deals with design, installations and architecture. Among her latest achievements are the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Barcelona, the Four Seasons Hotel Spa in Milan ... She makes furniture for the most important Italian and international companies, such as Agape, Alessi, B & B Italia, Baccarat, Bisazza, From Padova, Emu, Flos, Foscarini, Gandia Blasco, Kartell, Kvadrat, Moroso, Modena (where she is in charge of artistic direction), Louis Vuitton, Paola Lenti ...
Some of his products are exhibited in various museums and permanent collections including the MoMA in New York and the Museo della Triennale in Milan. She has won several international awards and prizes, including the "Medalla de Oro al Merito en las Bellas Artes" (Gold Medal of Fine Arts), awarded by the Spanish government.
