Luca Nichetto was born in 1976 in Venice. He studied at the Institute of Art of the city before starting a training in Industrial Design at the Iuav University of Venice, where he graduated in 1998. In 1999, Nichetto began his professional career with Murano glasses for Salviati, then becomes a product designer and consultant for a lighting company, Foscarini. In 2006, he founded his studio in Venice.
In 2011, he moved to Stockholm, Sweden, and opened a second studio, where he continues to live and work today. Over the course of his career, Nichetto has worked as an art director for international design brands and has deepened his knowledge of industrial design.
